This image is paired with "bounce", painted next to each other. Subtle colouring reinforces the movement in the black shape. A small part of a sequence of paintings created almost simultaneously each picture or frame tells its own tale within the longer story. Household emulsion paint is expressively brushed on a number of pre-developed black and white photographs. This will eventually form a sequence of images. While the emulsion is still drying car spray paint is sprayed randomly across the surface of the image. This then dries and conte crayon and perhaps charcoal is added to enhance the image.
