Stop, Look and Listen: By now we should all know this phrase
It was drummed into us for safety in those early days
Stop, don’t run on blindly not knowing what’s ahead
Look, beware of what’s around you, be prepared instead
Listen to the warning signs or else you could wind up dead
Red amber green, you stop, be prepared for the change, and green it’s time to proceed
Green symbolises growing things, healthy, natural, environmental issues and sustainable thoughts
Green is the colour of the phytoplankton when it is in bloom tiny microscopic organisms which play a huge role. The start of the food chain and keepers of the environment. The plant cells that are contained within are vital in producing the oxygen in the atmosphere as well as being a massively important carbon trap. It has absorbed approximately 50% of the carbon that has been produced since the industrial revolution. However the total number of phytoplankton has declined by 40% in the last few years due to the warming of the oceans and pollution.
