Digital bits of data are stored non- sequentially on a disk for retrieval at a later date. The image also reminds of a vinyl record being played by the stylus of a turntable. The data is “burnt” into the memory of the disc in small sections which are individually coded. The flat grey background adds emphasis to the detailed drawn object whatever it is translated as.
