Inspired by a young child's representational drawing of someone coughing. The sound struggles to escape dragging its particles in the agreed direction. Movement is indicated by the contrast of the dark irregular forms against the lighter rigid background plains of colour. This small painting has a larger version painted onto a photo collage and back mounted on board.It will be photographed and uploaded to this gallery soon.
