it was hotter last summer

The weather always seemed to be nicer, last summer. Hotter and drier, just like being away in foreign climes. Sun bathing at home, in the garden and splashing about in the paddling pool. The sun now burns so quickly like it has always done. So dangerous, will no one learn? A drought we cannot tolerate. As the weather warms, dry dust and the soil and blows away in hungry winds. Using the aquafer water to try and prevent the golf courses from drying out. Food for thought, less food in a drought. Tropical imports but not locally grown, air miles increasing as the carbon footprint grows.
