The years spent editing music on a computer and staring at a screen has influenced much of this work. The computer displays the sounds in a graphic form similar to the way a small child would draw the sound. This painting was inspired by a multitrack view available on digital sound editing software. On occasion this took the form of strange alien script. Sometimes reminding me of notation. However, the sound produced by the digitally created audio representations are almost impossible to predict. Only a computer could reproduce the sound.
